WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COUNSELLING & COACHING?
In coaching the primary focus is on your present and future goals.
Counselling sessions focus on your present goals and blocks from your past that are keeping you stuck in the same patterns.
DO I PAY BEFORE OR AFTER THE SESSION?
You pay prior to the session. This allows you to focus on your self-care once we are done.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
The session must be rescheduled within 24 hours otherwise you will be charged the full amount.
CAN YOU DIAGNOSE AND PRESCRIBE MEDICATIONS?
No I cannot, you would have to see a doctor or psychologist.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING AN ONLINE SESSION VS IN PERSON?
You get to be in the comfort of your own home!
I would advise setting up a nice quiet area so you can focus on yourself. If you have kids and they need to pop in to ask you a question, no problem!
IS MY PRIVACY PROTECTED?
Everything we speak about is confidential. I am legally liable to report to the authorities if you are planning to harm yourself or others.
HOW MANY SESSIONS SHOULD I BOOK?
Most of my clients start off with 8-16 sessions and then we reassess from there. In the beginning I suggest seeing each other weekly, then bi-weekly, then monthly for maintenance.
